FOOD AND DRINK
There are an abundance of unique places to eat both inside and outdoors, as well as a boma where guests can sit around a fire at night and sample a typical South African braai under the stars. Al fresco lunches in the bush are great fun, and favourite spots include Big Fig tree, our riverside Beach on the Dwars, the Hippo Dam and the Lodge’s amazing terrace table with magnificent views across Lodge Plain.
We love our sundowners at Nsele. Cocktails that include blueberry, orange and mint infused Gin and Tonics and Dark and Stormies are laid out on makeshift bars in a variety of special viewpoints, where the sound of pop and fizz is regularly broken by the barking of a jackal or the braying of a zebra.
Our kitchen is run by our lodge manager Nadia, who creates bespoke menus to suit our guests' requirements and will ensure that you will be well fed and comfortable during your time here.
