Nsele Private Game Reserve is an 8,000 acre estate within South Africa's breathtaking Waterberg biosphere, 2.5 hours drive north of Johannesburg.
Nsele’s completely private situation is its principal selling point - guests experience total exclusivity when hiring the property. Horse riding, walking, mountain, quad and dirt biking and fishing are just some of the experiences we offer on top of game viewing. Our new spa deck provides an ideal platform for wellness pursuits such as yoga and chi kung, and for a range of treatments including massages.
Nsele boasts many of Africa's most iconic species, including giraffe, zebra and hippo. We don’t keep major predators at the reserve (although very shy leopard are sometimes heard but almost never seen) which makes it safe to explore on foot with our experienced guides Mei and Neil. There are no set programmes – you can be as lazy or as active as you want at Nsele.
Our all inclusive rates from September 2023 are £500 + VAT per person per night. We offer a discounted rate of £295 + VAT per night for children under 12 years old. Nsele Lodge has a minimum occupancy of 4 guests at a time and a minimum duration of 4 nights stay.
